Mr Cooke has gone home to the Lord this morning. Looks like none
of his children or wife is able to be here. What a tragic end to his
life on earth. We need to learn that we as Christians cannot and should
never live by our past glory. We need to walk daily with the Lord and
our path be guided by Him always.
What a timely reminder from mum....
Deaths just make you realize how short life here is on earth. What are YOU doing to impact those around here today?
"Reports in the literature state that September is the peak month for births of ADHD children with and without comorbid learning disorders." (Sadock & Sadock, 2003)
Now, that explains it!!! The things that you find when researching for clinical reasoning in mundane client reports....
...oh, for those who don't know...ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
No, the title is not about my blog...(although it would be appropriate )
I attended the prayer meeting in OCF Murdoch today, and it was so encouraging to see so many brothers and sisters coming together and being passionate for the work of our Lord in Murdoch. It was so refreshing not to talk about ourselves, and how our week has been...but to look OUT into other centres, the missionaries, EXCO...and to pray and encourage them through prayer. It was a different kind of sharing, not any inward shopping lists that we often make, but one that looks at the needs of our fellow brothers and sisters on the other side Australia.
We also talked about the history of OCF Murdoch...and how we have been praying for revival. And God has indeed answered our prayers, not revival in numbers (although we have 500% increase in guys!!), but revival of the heart...of the passion to serve our God through OCF!!
I truly thank God for giving me this opportunity to serve Him in OCF Murdoch, and to experience such encouragement from these great guys! I pray that all at OCF Murdoch will continue to strive and work towards our common goal...to be light and salt on campus! :)
